The weather has been so fantastic since spring came, we've been enjoying it very much. March was a lot of fun. I celebrated my 30th birthday by having a girls' weekend with my sister, Mary, up where she lives. We went out to eat, shopped, stayed in a hotel where we got room service, ate out some more, and saw Oz the Great and Powerful. A few days after my birthday, Nate and his mom threw me a surprise party. It was so sweet of them to arrange it and it was fun to celebrate my birthday a little more. A couple of days after my party was when we had the ultrasound and found out that our little baby on the way is a girl. It has been so fun thinking about what it'll be like to have a little girl in our family. Of course I went and bought a few outfits for her. Nate traveled a bit in March both with his scouts and for work, the boys and I missed him a lot. My mom, step-dad, and nephew, Kannon, visited at the end of the month which was a lot of fun. We celebrated Easter with friends Saturday at an Easter egg hunt and potluck and then as a family on Sunday (Nate didn't get home until early Sunday morning from a work trip). Noah borrowed the movie The Iron Giant from a family at church and loved it. As soon as the movie was over, he drew this picture.
One of Porter's favorite games is "sleep", he grabs a pillow and blanket and relaxes.
Daddy took Porter and Noah on one of the scout campouts he went on. Noah was excited when one of the other boys caught a fish.
We've been enjoying some wonderful weather. Here are a few pictures of the boys in the backyard.
