We went to the zoo- the above picture is, of course, of Porter, he slept through his first visit to the zoo.
Below is a picture of Noah and Cannon outside the monkey exhibit.
Below is a picture of Noah and Cannon playing in the splash pad at the zoo.
One really fun activity we were able to do was to go to a baseball game for the local AAA team. The boys enjoyed it almost as much as Nate and I did. We had really great seats, just behind the home team dugout. Nate even caught a ball!
Noah and Cannon sure did enjoy their time together. Noah misses Cannon a lot and is determined to visit him soon.
July was busy too. We celebrated the 4th of July with some family here in town and even got to Skype with our niece, Kendall, who is away for college. The morning of Independence day we let Noah put our flag up (it blew away the next day during a monsoon storm, but our neighbor caught it and returned it).
I love these guys in their matching hats.
Later in the month, Nate took the scouts on a high adventure trip in the Grand Canyon so I took the boys to visit family.
Here I am enjoying a swim with Porter as well as my little brother, Shawn, and his daughter, MiaBella who is a year old.
Here's a picture of Noah and Porter with my dad.
It was so nice to have family visit us and to get out to visit family and friends as well. We hope we'll get to have a few more adventures before summer ends.
