June

In addition to my get-away to Louisville, our family had a lot of fun in June.
The weather warmed up quickly, so the kids enjoyed playing in the water in our little backyard pool and swimming with family and friends in their pools. Another pool-related activity we had in June was a baptism for a boy from church. Since our building is being remodeled and it has the only baptismal font within close proximity, Noah's church friend was baptized in the pool of a family in our ward. It was a neat experience to be a part of.
Porter and Noah took an art class 1 day each week in June, which they enjoyed. They will continue taking that class this month too. They've been studying the artistic methods of Eric Carle as well as using unique tools to create art. The art show featuring the works of all of the students from the summer classes will be held at the end of August.
We've been doing some work around the house and we have fun doing it together whether it's washing the cars, pulling weeds, or organizing closets. Nate is determined to get everything into tote bins- we all want a place for everything and everything it its place.
The kids enjoyed some fun activities at our library. One of which was a visit from a juggler. The kids, especially Noah, enjoyed watching him.

 Porter swimming with Grandpa M.
Noah had his first "sleepover", although it was just
a late night with his friend, Leif, watching a movie and
eating junk food before Leif went home to his
own bed.
Mommy's little book worm.

Nate and I took turns doing Temple service and the kids
got to enjoy the outdoors.
Grandma P stayed with us to celebrate Father's Day.
Noah was in heaven with Grandma as his assistant
Lego builder.
