It's been a while

I have been wanting to get on here to update things for a while, but just haven't found the time. We have been very busy with a lot of just normal life stuff. The most important thing is we're all doing well. Our big news for now is that we've sold our house and are planning to move... somewhere, sometime. We're hoping to get our closing date by the end of this week, but it may be early June before we know for sure. Then, of course, we'll be looking for a new home to move to. We are planning on moving closer to Nate's work, but we're not sure exactly where yet. Here's some more news on us to get you caught up, then I'll try and get some pictures up here. Nate recently set a goal to lose weight, 50 pounds by our 10th wedding anniversary in August and he is well on his way. He has been watching his diet and exercising a lot and he is looking and feeling great! I'm really proud of him and so is Noah. Noah tells everyone that his daddy is going to lose his gut. I think Nate's efforts will set a good example for our boys and will help us all live a more healthy lifestyle. Porter just this week has started walking. He is also getting better at communicating. He can say a few things, little words (mostly "that", "mommy", "hi", "Dash", "daddy", normal things like that), but he is pointing to things and is getting pretty good at expressing himself. Noah is doing well. Not a whole lot of news with him, just that he's getting so big. He wants to learn to read and I plan to help him with that this summer. There isn't really a lot of news with me either. Below are pictures of my boys from back in March.
We spent a lot of March getting our house ready to sell. We were so blessed to have family come to help us with minor repairs, touching up paint, cleaning, and moving things around. We also were blessed to have Nate's brother, Jan, his wife, Ronda, their daughter, Jaqie, and her sons, Cannon and Tejan, stay with us one night in March before we hosted a surprise birthday party for Nate's mom, Pat, and with some of Nate's other siblings and their families. They did so much to help us out for the short time they stayed with us before they all went to Pat's to do even more work. Once our house was on the market things got a little hectic, but only for a short time because we received offers right away and we accepted one the fourth day in. Since then we've just been waiting to hear back from our bank and get our closing date so we can move. I'll get more pictures up here soon.
