Our vacation ended with the opportunity to watch the general conference for our Church which strengthened and inspired us greatly. We also got to celebrate Easter with some family and Noah got to have another Easter egg hunt with his cousin, Alex. We are so happy to have had some time together as a family before Nate began his new job today. Although it's the end of our spring break, we feel this is a new beginning for our life.
A little information about our family and what we're up to these days.

All Great Things Must Come to an End
We knew it wouldn't (really, couldn't) last, but Nate's time at home finally ended today as he started his new job with a totally awesome company. Of course we're thrilled with this new opportunity Nate has and we're thankful that it came at exactly the right time, but it was certainly nice to have him home for a couple of weeks to relax and have some fun together. We continued our spring break with a trip to Winkelman where Nate wanted to scout out a good spot to take the young men of our ward and 2 other wards camping the following weekend. It was a short trip for us, but we found a beautiful spot and had a little picnic lunch together next to some very interesting statues. Below is a picture of Nate and Noah I took in Winkelman near where the young men ended up going camping (coincidentally there was a biker rally up there too which made the trip even more fun and memorable for the scouts!).
About an hour after Nate returned home from his camping trip, we and some friends had a little Easter celebration at a neighborhood park where we munched on yummy salads and rolls, had an Easter egg hunt, and ate some cake and fruit as well. We had a really fun time visiting with each other and the kids loved finding the Easter eggs. It seems Noah liked the Easter eggs so much that he traded all of his candy with his friends to get their Easter eggs, the other kids seemed pretty happy with the deal. Below: (1) Lizzy hunting down Easter eggs (2) Noah enjoying the spoils of the hunt (3) Trevor admiring the stickers found in one of his Easter eggs

We also decided to take a drive out to Phoenix to visit the zoo there. The Phoenix zoo is enormous compared to the zoo here. We all loved watching the animals and the weather was perfect. We didn't get to see everything (like I said, it's really big), but we had a great time. Here are a few pictures from that trip.
